CSU Bakersfield 8, Fresno State 5FRESNO, Calif.—(CSUB Media Relations) CSU Bakersfield (25-13) scored four runs with two outs in the top of the seventh inning to rally for a 8-5 victory over FresnoState (8-24) Wednesday night.
Bakersfield loaded the bases with two outs in the top of the seventh, when Mylz Jones (Fr., Palmdale, Calif., Paraclete HS) singled to right to plate a pair of runs. Frank Martinez (Sr., Riverside, Calif., East LA College) added to the lead with a single that drove in two runs later in the inning.

The Aggies opened the game with a solo home run by junior catcher Tanner Rust to take an early 1-0 lead but UNM crossed the plate twice in the bottom of the inning. NM State would not regain the lead again as the Lobos scored two more runs in the bottom of the second to take a 4-1 lead.
