SJSU to Represent WAC at Tempe Regional 5/13/2013 12:00:00 AM SJSU to Represent WAC at Tempe Regional San Jose State, the WAC regular-season and tournament champions, will represent the conference in the NCAA Tournament as the Spartans will travel to Tempe, Ariz., for the Tempe Regional.San Jose State (42-15) will face No. 5 overall seed Arizona State (45-10) at 3 p.m. (PT) Friday, May 17, on ESPNU. San Diego State (35-18) will face Georgia (38-19) on the other side of the bracket in the double elimination regional.The Spartans are led by WAC Tournament MVP and WAC Pitcher of the Year Amanda Pridmore, who is 29-9 with seven saves and eight shutouts this season.
