San Jose State 2, New Mexico State 1 (8)
Markesha Collins hit an RBI single to centerfield in the bottom of the eighth inning to give San Jose State a 2-1 win in the first half of a twinbill Saturday. Amanda Pridmore earned the complete-game win, striking out eight over eight innings.

San Jose State 5, New Mexico State 2
The Spartans won the WAC regular-season title and earned the top seed in the WAC Tournament with a 5-2 win in the nightcap. Cheryl Freitas was 2-for-3 with a triple, a home run and four RBI. Pridmore earned the complete-game win to improve to 26-9 on the season.

Louisiana Tech 6, Seattle U 5
Louisiana Tech scored an unearned run in the top of the seven to take the lead in a 6-5 win at Seattle U to sweep the series Saturday. Kristen Miles was 2-for-3 and drove in the winning run. Melanie Goff earned the win in the circle, throwing 1.1 innings in relief.

Utah State 5, Texas State 2
Utah State closed out its season with a 5-2 win over Texas State in the series finale Saturday. Jolene Koons was 2-for-2 with two runs scored. Shelbi Tyteca earned the win, while Noelle Johnson picked up a save.

UT Arlington 6, UTSA 4
The Mavericks scored in the first inning and never trailed in a 6-4 win over UTSA in the first game of a doubleheader Saturday to secure a spot in the WAC Tournament. Meagan Michele was 2-for-4 with a homer and two RBI. Callie Collins earned the win, while Teri Lyles earned the save.

UTSA 4, UT Arlington 2
UTSA earned a spot in the WAC Tournament with a 4-2 win over the Mavericks in the series finale. Jolene Graham was 2-for-3 with a home run and two RBI. Haylee Staton earned the win, striking out seven.
