Campus facts about Utah Valley University:
-UVU was established in 1941 (then called Utah Technology College) to provide a base for the scattered trade programs in Utah and Heber valleys.

-UVU educates more Utahns than any other university or college in the state.

-In the summer of 2010, UVU's ballroom dance team won first place on Dancing with the Stars.

-UVU is the only school in NCAA history to go straight from Junior College status to Division I competition.
