The Antelopes swept past Arizona Christian (25-15, 25-9, 25-8) Wednesday night at GCU Arena to even their record at 5-5.
Grand Canyon hit .389 on the match and held the Lady Eagles to -.021. The Antelopes nearly tripled Arizona Christian in kills (46-16) and assists (44-15) and posted six service aces in the victory.
Lanie Muys posted a match-high 11 kills on .526 hitting. Bree Davis dished out 20 assists, while Jessica Posse added 19. Mackenzie Phelps tallied a match-high 18 digs, while Shannon Dugan was just shy of a double-double, posting nine kills and 10 digs.
Wright State 3, Chicago State 0
The Cougars fell in straight sets (19-25, 25-27, 23-25) to Wright State at the Dickens Center Wednesday. With the loss, Chicago State falls to 2-11 on the season.
The Cougars were out-hit .248 to .139 and out-blocked 8-1 in the loss.
Paula Sioto led Chicago State with 13 kills. Mackenzie Lotter finished with 28 assists and eight digs, while Mia Townsell posted a match-high 16 digs.
Southeast Missouri State 3, Kansas City 2
The Kangaroos fell in five sets (22-25, 25-19, 20-25, 25-23, 9-15) at Southeast Missouri State Wednesday. With the loss, Kansas City falls to 6-6 on the season.
The Redhawks out-hit the 'Roos .260 to .170 and out-blocked UMKC 12-9.
Chloe Jarema led Kansas City with 14 kills, while Jessica Hendin posted a double-double of 12 kills and 16 digs. Sydney Crimmins added 12 kills, while Emma Hagedorn had 11. Kaylyn Brandt also doubled up with 27 assists and 10 digs, while Taryn Miller led the team with 26 digs.
