Utah Valley 3, Air Force 2
The Wolverines outlasted Air Force in five sets (18-25, 25-18, 25-19, 18-25, 15-3) at Falcon Court to win the Air Force Invitational Saturday. With the win, Utah Valley improves to 6-8 on the season.

The Wolverines hit .160 on the night, compared to the .128 of the Falcons. Utah Valley also posted 10 service aces and 15 blocks in the win.

Lauren Stringham led the Wolverines with a career-best 13 kills, while Katie Fritzler added a career-high 12 kills. Stringham also added her first double-double of the season with 11 blocks. Brookelyn Hall finished with 40 assists, seven digs and five blocks.

Texas-Pan American 3, Huston-Tillotson 0
The Broncs tied the mark for the second-best start in program history, including their best at the NCAA Division I level, with a sweep (25-9, 25-10, 25-13) of Huston-Tillotson Saturday at the UTPA Fieldhouse. With the victory, Texas-Pan American improves to 10-5 on the year.

The Broncs hit .324 on the match and held the Rams to a -.091 hitting percentage. UTPA also had a season-high 12 service aces in the win.

Alisha Watson and Maria Kliefoth both posted a match-high seven kills, while Macey Singleton dished out 18 assists and Krysta Freitas had four aces.

New Mexico State 3, South Dakota State 0
The Aggies won their second match in as many days by defeating South Dakota State in straight sets (25-18, 25-18, 25-9) Saturday afternoon at the Pan American Center to conclude the NM State/UTEP Tournament. With the win. New Mexico State improves to 5-7 on the season.

The Aggies out-hit the Jackrabbits .341 to .012, but were out-blocked 9-1.

Desiree Scott paced NM State with 10 kills, while Bradley Nash posted a match-high 13 digs. Ciara Brown was just shy of a double-double, finishing with 17 assists and nine digs.

Seattle U 3, Nevada 0
The Redhawks snapped an 11-match losing skid with a sweep (25-12, 25-16, 25-19) of Nevada at the Cougar Invitational Saturday. With the win, Seattle U improves to 3-12 on the season.

The Redhawks out-hit the Wolf Pack .337 to .062 and out-blocked Nevada 8.5-6. Seattle U also posted seven service aces in the victory.

Iris Ivanis led the Redhawks with 12 kills on .435 hitting to go along with 11 digs for her first double-double of the season. Kerry Lane dished out 23 assists in the win.
