Seattle U 3, Kansas City 0

SEATTLE, Wash.-(SU Media Relations) Seattle University women’s soccer (5-2-2, 2-0-0 WAC) scored early and continued their threat as they shut out Kansas City (4-6-1, 1-2-0 WAC), 3-0, in Western Athletic Conference play. This is the second straight shutout for the Redhawks as they are on a three-game overall winning streak and four-game home winning streak.

“It feels great going into Sunday’s game having two conference wins,” said head coach Julie Woodward. “I was really impressed with the way our team started the game. Scoring a goal early like that gets you off to a good start and changes the momentum in the game. I’m really happy we got the shutout and I’m impressed with the goals we scored.”
