Idaho 58, Grand Canyon 54
In a game that saw nine ties, Idaho held the Antelopes scoreless over the final 2:23 of the game to remain undefeated in WAC play by defeating Grand Canyon 58-54 at the Cowan Spectrum Thursday. With the win, the Vandals improve to 14-7 overall and 7-0 in the WAC. The Antelopes drop to 13-5 on the season and 2-3 in WAC play.

Idaho shot 30 percent from the field, 23 percent from three-point range and 54 percent from the free throw line on the game. GCU connected on 31 percent from the floor, 40 percent from downtown and 77 percent from the line. The Vandals dominated the boards, 52-39, including 18-7 on the offensive glass.

Alyssa Charlston posted a double-double of 14 points and 13 boards, while Stacey Barr also scored 14. Addie Schivo added 12 points, while Ali Forde grabbed a game-high 15 rebounds, nabbed four steals and blocked three shots.

Kaitlyn Petersen led the Antelopes with 13 points, while Johnna Brown added 10 points and Asha McDonnell grabbed a team-high eight rebounds.

Bakersfield 90, Chicago State 59
The Roadrunners cruised to a 90-59 road win over Chicago State at the Jones Convocation Center Thursday. With the victory, Bakersfield improves to 9-8 overall and 3-2 in the WAC. The Cougars fall to 3-16 on the season and 0-6 in WAC play with the loss.

The Roadrunners shot 54 percent from the field, 33 percent from three-point range and 71 percent from the free throw line on the game. Chicago State connected on 33 percent from the floor, 19 percent from beyond the arc and 63 percent from the charity stripe. Bakersfield edged Chicago State on the boards, 38-36, and forced 20 Cougar turnovers.

Tyonna Outland led all players with 18 points, while Batabe Zempare added 15 points and eight rebounds. Melissa Sweat finished with 12 points and Brittany Sims had 11.

Layne Murphy led Chicago State with career highs of 17 points and 15 rebounds. Tierra Williams added 12 points, while Konner Harris and Cailin Nix tallied 11 apiece.

Kansas City 83, Utah Valley 66
The Kangaroos took the lead for good midway through the first half and defeated Utah Valley 83-66 at the Swinney Recreation Center Thursday. With the win, Kansas City improves to 7-12 overall and 3-3 in the WAC. The Wolverines drop to 3-15 on the season and 0-5 in WAC play with the loss.

The 'Roos shot 54 percent from the field, 39 percent from three-point range and 71 percent from the free throw line on the game. Utah Valley connected on 39 percent from the floor, 21 percent from downtown and 75 percent from the line. Kansas City out-rebounded the Wolverines 41-32.

Kim Nezianya led all players with 28 points and 15 rebounds, while Eilise O'Connor finished with 24 points, eight boards and eight assists.

Whitney Jenkins led Utah Valley with 20 points, while Rhaiah Spooner-Knight finished with 19 points and Sam Loggins added 13.
