This is the sixth installment of WAC SAAC Gives Back, which highlights the community service efforts and activities of the Student-Athlete Advisory Councils at each of the nine WAC schools.

Visit to Children's Center at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance
The UTPA women’s basketball team visited pediatric patients and their families at the Children’s Center at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance. The student-athletes met with children, signed autographs, played games and gave the children autographed UTPA basketballs. Video
Dream League T-Ball Experience
The UTPA baseball team partnered with Stepping Stones Home Care/Rehabilitation and the Pharr Police Athletic League for the inaugural Dream League T-Ball Experience, a tee ball game for children with special needs. Video
Bone Marrow Drive
The UTPA baseball and women's basketball teams hosted a Bone Marrow Drive for the Be the Match registry. Video
McAllen First Play Day of Tennis
The UTPA women's tennis team volunteered for the McAllen First Play Day of Tennis, teaching kids basic tennis skills. Video
Basketball Youth Clinic at Academy Sports & Outdoors
Members of the UTPA men's and women's basketball teams gave free instruction to children ages 5-13 at Academy Sports & Outdoors. Video
