Missouri-Kansas City 3, Seattle U 1 (25-17, 14-25, 25-19, 25-17)

KANSAS CITY – (UMKC Media Relations) The Missouri-Kansas City volleyball team (15-3, 4-0) continued to roll as the squad picked up its 11th straight victory with a 3-1 win over Seattle (7-11, 3-2) on Saturday afternoon at the Swinney Recreation Center.

As a team, the ‘Roos hit .313, their second best mark of the season.

Emma Hagedorn led the ‘Roos with a team-high 13 kills on .647 hitting .647. Sydney Crimmins added 13 kills and 10 digs for her eighth double-double of the year. Nicole Wemhoff led the team with 29 assists to go with nine digs, while Kaylyn Brandt added 19 assists and nine digs. In the back row, Taryn Miller finished with a team-high 17 digs.

Matea Mamic paced Seattle U with 15 kills on .448 hiiting, while Iris Ivanis added a double-double of 10 kills and 12 digs.

Utah Valley 3, Chicago State 0 (29-27, 25-23, 25-20)

CHICAGO – (UVU Media Relations) Five players finished with seven or more kills for Utah Valley University volleyball on Saturday afternoon as the Wolverines swept past Chicago State in the Windy City in Western Athletic Conference play (29-27, 25-23, 25-20).
 
Junior Lauren Bakker and sophomore Macky Treanor led the way for UVU (8-11, 3-2 WAC) with 10 kills apiece, while senior Kalani Norris and sophomore Kiahna Steiner each added eight. Fellow sophomore Nakisha Willden chipped in seven of her own kills as well as eight digs while freshmen Madison Wolford and Cydney Lund both recorded season-highs with six blocks and 12 digs, respectively.

Elli Woinowsky recorded a double-double with a match-best 18 kills and 11 digs to lead Chicago State.

Bakersfield 3, Grand Canyon 0 (25-18, 25-17, 25-23)

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – (CSUB Media Relations) Danika Youngblood recorded her seventh double-double in her last nine matches to lead Bakersfield to a straight sets victory over Grand Canyon in WAC volleyball action Saturday.

Youngblood tallied a match-high 13 kills to go along with 10 digs and two service aces. Molly O'Hagan hit .625 for the match and had 10 kills. Luiza Martins tallied 41 assists, eight digs and one block, while Mariah Alvidrez registered 19 digs.

Natalie Tardy led Grand Canyon with 11 kills, while Mackenzie Phelps had a match-high 26 digs.
