UMKC men's soccer secured its first point in WAC play on Sunday at Durwood Stadium, taking a 1-1 draw against San Jose State, after two overtimes.
The first period saw most of the play take place in the midfield, with the best two chances coming from the ‘Roos (2-7-2, 0-2-1 WAC). The first opportunity came when Wes White got a head on a cross that looked to be dropping just below the bar, but SJSU (3-7-1, 1-1-1 WAC) goalkeeper Felix Petermann jumped up and got a hand on it to tip it over the net in the 28th minute.

Air Force men's soccer defeated Bakersfield 4-2 in a Western Athletic Conference match on a rainy Sunday afternoon at the Cadet Soccer Stadium. Four-straight goals erased an early deficit, improving the Falcons to 6-2-3, 2-1 on the season.
Bakersfield (8-3-1, 2-1) scored in the 14th minute off a goal by Lucas Dall'Orso to take an early lead.

The Grand Canyon University men's soccer team (2-8-1, 0-3-0 WAC) was unable to overcome a pair of early Seattle U (6-4-1, 1-1-1 WAC) scores, dropping a 3-0 decision to the Redhawks in a Western Athletic Conference game today at Championship Field. The Antelopes put together a solid second half despite being forced to play one man short for over 60 minutes of the game.
The contest marked the final of a three-game conference road swing. Seattle U was recently tabbed as the No. 1 team in the West according to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) regional rankings on Oct. 7.
