Southern Utah 3, Utah Valley 2 (25-22, 25-21, 23-25, 26-28, 15-12)

CEDAR CITY, Utah – (UVU Media Relations) Utah Valley University went on a late clutch 7-2 run in the fifth and final set against Southern Utah University on Tuesday night at Centrum Arena in Cedar City but it wasn't enough as the Thunderbirds took the contest by a score of 3-2 (22-25, 21-25, 25-23, 28-26, 12-15).
 
With the loss, the Wolverines drop to 9-14 on the season and 3-3 in five-set matches while the T-Birds improve to 12-8 with the win.

Despite the loss, Lauren Bakker and Macky Treanor paced the Wolverines with 15 kills apiece. Treanor added her second double-double in as many matches with a career-high 16 digs while Jen Hardman chipped in her first double-double in a Wolverine uniform with 28 assists and 10 digs.

Valparaiso 3, Chicago State 0 (25-18, 29-27, 25-17)

CHICAGO – (CSU Media Relations) Chicago State volleyball dropped a non-conference match tonight against Valparaiso at the Jacoby Dickens Center. The visiting Crusaders won the match in three sets by scores of 25-18, 29-27 and 25-17.

Milicia Zmiric recorded a double-double of 13 digs and 11 kills to go along with with five blocks and four assists. Sarah Metcalfe recorded 24 assists, while Elli Woinowsky and Chinwendu Ngwadom produced eight and seven kills, respectively.

Essence Jackson-Jones posted a match-high six blocks and Julia Menhart tallied a match-leading 16 digs to pace the Cougar defense.
