The Grand Canyon University men's soccer team (4-8-2, 2-3-1) used a goal apiece in the first and second half to stake a 2-1 victory over Houston Baptist (2-7-2, 1-4-0) in a Western Athletic Conference meeting tonight at Sorrels Field in Houston, Tex. The victory was the second in the past three games for the Antelopes (2-0-1), who also picked up a tie with Air Force in that time.
Alberto Sanchez Garcia collceted his team-leading fourth score of the season in the first half, and was followed by Kyle Summerhill in the second half, who gave the Lopes a two-goal cushion and scored what proved to be the game-winner.

UMKC men's soccer fell behind 2-0 against WAC defending champion Seattle with just under 17 minutes to play, and proceeded to strike for three goals in less than an 11 minute span on route to an improbable 3-2 come-from behind victory.
The Redhawks (7-5-1, 2-2-1 WAC) jumped in front on a header off a corner kick in the 71st minute by Nick Prasad. The contest didn’t have very many chances for either side before the goal, but the floodgates opened after that.

Air Force men's soccer dropped a 2-1 match to Utah Valley in Western Athletic Conference action Friday night at the Cadet Soccer Stadium. Despite tying the match up in the 86th minute, the Falcons (6-4-4, 2-3-1 WAC) were unable to pull out the rally as the Wolverines (6-5-1, 2-2-1 WAC) scored the game winner less than a minute later.

UNLV junior Kevin Partida made his first goal of the season a memorable one, breaking a tie game midway through the second half to give the Rebel men's soccer team a 3-2 victory at Incarnate Word in a game that matched up the co-leaders in the WAC. The Rebels are now alone in first place with 15 points off a 5-1 record, and stand at 11-3-1 overall. UIW dropped to 5-7 as its four-game win streak was snapped, 4-1 in league play.
