GEICO Named Official Insurance Provider of the WAC
DENVER - Western Athletic Conference Commissioner Jeff Hurd today announced a multi-year partnership with GEICO in support of WAC student-athletes across 19 men's and women's championship sports. GEICO will be recognized as the “Official Insurance Provider of the Western Athletic Conference.”

“We are excited by the opportunity to align the WAC with GEICO, a company with a strong commitment to communities that touch the campuses of our member schools,” Hurd said. “The WAC will continue to grow a unique and broad fan base, in part fueled by a state-of-the-art digital network and appreciates the opportunity to partner with GEICO to help make that vision a reality.”

In addition to providing GEICO with recognition as “Official Insurance Provider,” the agreement provides GEICO with on-site visibility at all 19 WAC Championships, in-game promotion at all men's basketball games and exposure on the WAC Digital Network at www.wacsports.com/watch.

“The Western Athletic Conference features rising programs in some of the most desirable markets west of the Mississippi River,” said Deedre Daniel, GEICO Partnership Marketing Director. “We are really excited about this new partnership and our ability to offer discounts to the alumni, faculty and staff of WAC member institutions.”
