Missouri-Kansas City 3, New Mexico State 1 (25-11, 25-20, 23-25, 25-12)Recap | Stats
KANSAS CITY – (UMKC Media Relations) The Missouri-Kansas City volleyball team (24-5, 12-2) won the WAC regular-season title with a 3-1 (25-11, 25-20, 23-25, 25-12) win over defending champ New Mexico State (16-10, 10-4) in front of a packed house inside the Swinney Recreation Center.
Melissa Hartsel led the way for the ‘Roos with 13 kills on ,556 hitting with a career-high and WAC season-high 12 blocks for her first career double-double. Jessica Hendin had a team-high 15 kills and 13 digs for her team-leading 12th double-double of the season, while Sydney Crimmins narrowly a double-double with nine kills and 14 digs. Skyler Muff notched a season-high 10 of the ‘Roos 18 blocks to go with five kills, three digs and two aces. Kaylyn Brandt finished with 26 assists, eight digs and three aces, and Nicole Wemhoff added 21 assists, nine digs and three kills.
Jordan Abalos led NM State with 11 kills, while Ariadnne Sierra had a team-high 16 digs.
Bakersfield 3, Seattle U 0 (25-23, 25-22, 25-21)

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – (CSUB Media Relations) Bakersfield clinched the third seed in next week’s WAC Tournament with a straight sets (25-23, 25-22, 25-21) victory over Seattle U Saturday afternoon.
Kelsee Sawyer posted a match high 14 kills to pace the Roadrunners. Danika Youngblood hit .357 as she tallied 13 kills, while Molly O’Hagan charted 12 kills. Luiza Martins dished out 44 assists and Mariah Alvidrez earned at least 20 digs for the 13th time in 27 matches this season with 23.
Seattle U (12-15, 8-6 WAC) was led by Matea Mamic who had 11 kills. Kerry Lane recorded 30 assists, five digs and two blocks.
Utah Valley 3, Grand Canyon 0 (25-20, 25-16, 25-19)

PHOENIX – (UVU Media Relations) Utah Valley University (14-17, 8-6) secured the No. 4 seed at next week's WAC Volleyball Tournament with a 3-0 sweep (25-20, 25-16, 25-19) over Grand Canyon (17-11, 6-8) in the regular season finale on Saturday afternoon at Antelope Gym.
Macky Treanor led the UVU attack with 10 kills in the contest and 10 digs for her fourth double-double of the season. McKenna Tait recorded a match-high 29 digs while Lauren Bakker led UVU at the net with five blocks.
Tait not only led the way in digs in the match but also became UVU's all-time career leader with 1,733 digs.
Shannon Dugan led Grand Canyon in kills with 14, while Natalie Tardy added nine. Michelle Steagall had 21 assists and 15 digs.
Texas-Pan American 3, Chicago State 0 (25-22, 25-20, 25-20)

CHICAGO – (UTPA Media Relations) The University of Texas-Pan American Broncs volleyball team closed out the regular season with a 3-0 (25-22, 25-20, 25-20) win over the Chicago State University Cougars on Saturday at Jacoby Dickens Center.
Haley Durham led the Broncs (7-22, 3-11 WAC) with 11 kills. Corynn Acuff posted a career-high nine kills with three blocks while Diara Reynolds had nine kills with two blocks.
Elli Woinowsky led the Cougars (6-24, 0-14 WAC) with 13 kills, 10 digs, three assists, two aces and two blocks.
