OMAHA, Neb. – The Cougars dropped to 0-2 on the season with an 84-66 loss at Creighton Sunday afternoon.
Chicago State out-shot the Bluejays 45.5 percent to 44.8 percent from the field and 43.5 percent to 33.3 percent from three-point range, but made just six of 10 free throws while Creighton connected on 22-of-27 (81.5 percent). The Bluejays won the rebounding battle, 36-31. Creighton scored 32 points off Chicago State's 20 turnovers in the game.
Clarke Rosenberg led all players with 22 points and a team-high eight rebounds. Anthony Glover added 18 points and Quron Davis finished with 10.
