Championship
Match 5: No. 3 Bakersfield 3, No. 5 Seattle U 0 (25-22, 25-21, 25-17)

Third-seeded Bakersfield swept past No. 5 Seattle U to claim its first-ever WAC Tournament title Saturday evening and earn the WAC's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. It will be the Roadrunners' first NCAA appearance in volleyball at the Division I level and their first appearance since 2006 at the Division II level.

Danika Youngblood led all players with 15 kills, while Kelsee Sawyer added 14. WAC Tournament MVP Molly O'Hagan added 11 kills, five digs and four blocks. Luiza Martins had 43 assists and Mariah Alvidrez finished with 13 digs.

Semifinals
Match 4: No. 5 Seattle U 3, No. 1 Missouri-Kansas City 2 (16-25, 25-12, 26-24, 20-25, 16-14)

In a highly contested match, No. 5 Seattle U upset top-seeded Missouri-Kansas City in five sets (16-25, 25-12, 26-24, 20-25, 16-14) in the semifinals of the WAC Tournament Friday. The Redhaws now advance to the championship match on Saturday, where they will face host and third-seeded Bakersfield.

Matea Mamic led all players with 20 kills and 15 digs for her third double-double of the season. Martina Samadan added 13 kills and nine digs, while setter Kerry Lane finished with 50 assists and eight digs.

Taylor Buhrow led the UMKC attack, finishing with a career-high 14 kills, while Jessica Hendin finished with 11 kills and 12 digs. Setters Kaylyn Brandt and Nicole Wemhoff both posted double-doubles, as Brandt finished with 22 assists and 10 digs, and Wemhoff posted 22 assists and 11 digs. Taryn Miller had a match-high 21 digs in the loss.

Match 3: No. 3 Bakersfield 3, 2 New Mexico State 1 (21-25, 26-24, 26-24, 25-20)
After dropping the first set, third-seeded Bakersfield won three straight sets to defeat No. 2 New Mexico State in four sets (21-25, 26-24, 26-24, 25-20) and eliminate the Aggies from the tournament in their first match.

Molly O'Hagan led all players with 20 kills on .349 hitting to go along with six digs and four blocks. Luiza Martins posted a double-double of 55 assists and 12 digs, while Mariah Alvidrez had a match-high 21 digs. Danika Youngblood (14), Kelsee Sawyer (12) and Sydney Haynes (10) also finished with double-digit kills.

Jordan Abalos led the Aggies with 18 kills and 12 digs, while Bradley Nash and Gwen Murphy added 11 kills apiece.


First Round
Match 2: No. 5 Seattle U 3, No. 4 Utah Valley 2 (22-25, 25-23, 25-16, 15-25, 19-17)

Fifth-seeded Seattle U and No. 4 Utah Valley battled back and forth and the Redhawks rallied from a 14-10 fifth-set deficit to defeat the Wolverines 3-2 (22-25, 25-23, 25-16, 15-25, 19-17).

Martina Samadan led all players with 19 kills on .531 hitting with seven blocks. Matea Mamic added a double-double of 14 kills and 11 digs.

Macky Treanor paced Utah Valley with 17 kills, while Lauren Bakker added 14 kills and nine blocks.

Match 1: No. 3 Bakersfield 3, No. 6 Texas-Pan American 0 (25-8, 25-16, 25-18)

hird-seeded Bakersfield swept past No. 6 Texas-Pan American (25-8, 25-16, 25-18) in the first match of the WAC Tournament Thursday. The Roadrunners hit a season-high .422 on the match and held the Broncs to .033 hitting. CSUB also out-blocked UTPA 6-0 in the victory.

Kelsee Sawyer led all players with 12 kills on .400 hitting, while Molly O'Hagan added 11 kills on a .455 clip. Mariah Alvidrez had a match-high 14 digs and Luiza Martins had 38 assists.

Alisha Watson paced the Broncs with nine kills and four service aces, while Macey Singleton had a team-high 10 digs.
