DENVER - Kansas City’s Courtney Frerichs represented the ‘Roos most exceptionally as she finished 13th out of the 253 runners that competed at the women’s NCAA Cross Country Championships on Saturday.
Frerichs made big strides this time around at Nationals as she went from finishing 38th last year to taking 13th place this year. The Nixa, Mo. native ran the 6K course in 20:17.1 ending her season as another All-American—this being the second time in her cross country career. The three-time WAC XC Athlete of the Week completes her season as the WAC and UTFSCCA Female Athlete of the Year, WAC Champion, and winner of four of the five meets this fall.
