BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – (CSUB Media Relations) Just three days after being held below 30 percent shooting, the CSUB Roadrunners returned the favor Sunday night to the opponent they faced in their home opener, Delaware, holding the visiting Blue Hens to just 27 percent from the field in a 70-52 victory at the Icardo Center.

The Roadrunners (1-4) shot 50 percent in the second half and 29-of-65 (45 percent) on the game. CSUB had a season-high 17 assists, including six by Brent Wrapp, and a season-low seven turnovers while also outrebounding Delaware 45-37.

Aly Ahmed led CSUB with 19 points, including 13 in the second half, along with nine rebounds, two assists and two blocks. Cortez Conners added a season-high 14 points.
Montana 66, Seattle U 62

SEATTLE – (SU Media Relations) Seattle University held a double-digit lead midway through the second half, but the University of Montana fought back and eventually pulled ahead for the 66-62 victory in the second game of the Marv Harshman Classic Sunday night at KeyArena.

Isiah Umipig led the Redhawks with 17 points, including three three-pointers, plus he dished out four assists. Jarell Flora earned 10 points, four rebounds and five assists, while William Powell contributed seven points, eight rebounds and two steals.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – (UMKC Media Relations) The UMKC men's basketball team ran into a team that couldn't miss on Sunday in Little Rock at the EA Sports Maui Invitational, dropping a 64-55 decision to Samford.

The Bulldogs shot 60 percent from three and 53 percent overall to take the win. The ‘Roos shot only 33 percent in the game, and only 46 percent from the foul line. They also shot only 24 percent from the three-point line.

Martez Harrison led the ‘Roos with 17 points, while Shayok Shayok had nine points and a team-high nine boards.
