New Mexico State 88, Stetson 68

LAS CRUCES, N.M. – (NM State Media Relations) Freshman Pascal Siakam scored 10 points and grabbed 17 rebounds for his first career double-double and New Mexico State powered past Stetson 88-68 Monday evening at the Pan American Center.

NM State crashed the boards and came away with 62 rebounds – including 38 on offense. The Aggies shot 40 percent (35-of-87) field and finished with 12 steals and five blocks.

DK Eldridge quietly finished with a team-high 17 points on 7-of-15 shooting from the field. Tshilidzi Nephawe played just 14 minutes, but made each minute count and dropped 14 points, while grabbing four boards.

Remi Barry helped out with 13 points and seven rebounds. Ian Baker scored 13 points and set a career-high four steals, while Daniel Mullings finished with a career-high 15 rebounds.


Georgia State 69, Chicago State 46

ROCHESTER, Mich. –
The Cougars dropped their first game of the CBE Hall of Fame Classic Monday to Georgia State, 69-46 to fall to 2-3 on the season.

Chicago State shot just 29 percent from the field, 24 percent from three-point range and 72 percent from the free throw line on the game. The Panthers connected on 49 percent from the floor, 39 percent from downtown and 73 percent from the free throw line on the game. The Cougars won the rebounding battle 34-28, but committed 23 turnovers in the loss.
 
Anthony Glover led the Cougars with 16 points, while Clarke Rosenberg added 14. Johnny Griffin and Jared Dimakos pulled down seven rebounds each for Chicago State.
