The Roadrunners got on the board early and looked to hold their lead before Alberto Sanchez Garcia successfully converted a penalty kick in the 85th minute to tie the score.

The draw on Senior Day leaves the Rebels (12-4-2 overall) at 6-2-1 in conference play, and with 19 points they have a three-point lead over Seattle and Incarnate Word in the team standings. The Spartans meanwhile moved to 6-8-2, 4-2-2 in the WAC.
