SEATTLE – (UMKC Media Relations)  Emma Hagedorn hit a WAC season-high .750 with 16 kills and six blocks to lead the Missouri-Kansas City volleyball team (22-4, 10-1) to a 3-1 win over Seattle (10-14, 6-5 WAC) at the Connolly Center in Seattle Thursday.

The 10 WAC wins by the ‘Roos ties the school record for conference wins in a season, while the Kangaroos magic number for a WAC title now stands at two with three regular-season matches remaining.

OREM, Utah – (UVU Media Relations) Lauren Bakker became Utah Valley University's all-time leader in career solo blocks in a 3-0 sweep (25-13, 25-16, 25-13) over Chicago State on Thursday evening at the PE Building.
 
Bakker passed Jessica Endres' (2004-07) previous record of 46 late in the first set. The middle blocker now has 47 career solo blocks and sits just seven total blocks back from becoming the program's leader in that category and eight block assists shy of becoming the school's all-time leader in that category as well.
 
As a team, the Wolverines (11-16, 6-5 WAC) hit a solid .341 for the match while the Cougars (6-21, 0-11 WAC) posted a -.022 attack percentage. UVU also recorded six more total blocks than Chicago State (11-5).

Bakker finished with six kills and four blocks on the evening while Macky Treanor led the way with 11 kills, a .647 attack percentage and four service aces. Madison Wolford too had a nice match with six kills and six blocks, which included three solo blocks.
 
Elli Woinowsky led Chicago State with seven kills, while Sarah Metcalfe had 10 assists and Julia Menhart added eight digs.
