OREM, Utah – (UVU Media Relations) Four players tallied nine or more kills for Utah Valley Saturday afternoon as the Wolverines knocked off first-place Missouri-Kansas City in four sets (25-19, 19-25, 25-17, 25-14) at the PE Building. The loss marked just UMKC's second in its last 20 matches.
Macky Treanor led the UVU (12-16, 7-5 WAC) attack with 18 kills, while Madison Wolford added 11 and Kalani Norris and Lauren Bakker each chipped in nine apiece. Treanor and Sierra Starley both notched double-doubles in the contest as Treanor added 10 digs and Starley put up a match-high 24 assists and 10 digs. McKenna Tait finished one assist shy of a double-double with 17 digs and nine assists.
With eight blocks on the afternoon, Bakker became the program's all-time leader in career total blocks. Bakker, who now holds the all-time UVU mark with 428 total blocks, passed Jessica Endres' (2004-07) previous record of 426.
Jessica Hendin led UMKC with her 11th double-double of the season of 15 digs, 11 kills and two aces.
New Mexico State 3, at Texas-Pan American 1 (25-21, 23-25, 25-21, 25-12)

EDINBURG, Texas – (NMSU Media Relations) The New Mexico State volleyball team remained perfect (11-0) versus Texas-Pan American after defeating the Broncs Saturday afternoon in four sets, 25-21, 23-25, 25-21, 25-12, to improve to 15-9 overall and 9-3 in WAC play.
Bradley Nash and Nathalie Castellanos each finished with 11 kills for the Aggies, while Gwen Murphy and Shelbi Goode each had 10 kills. Andrea Tauai, who played the first two sets at the libero position, finished with a career-high 29 digs, which is also the most digs by any Aggie this season. Taylor Livoti finished with 26 assists, while Ashlyn Brown added another 19 helpers.
Haley Durham and Alisha Watson led the Broncs (6-21, 2-10 WAC) with 12 kills each. Watson also had 10 digs for the double-double. Mary Kate Clark dished out 13 assists with a team-high 13 digs, while Maria Kliefoth posted five blocks.
Grand Canyon 3, Bakersfield 2 (25-17, 25-20, 17-25, 17-25, 15-13)

PHOENIX – (GCU Media Relations) Grand Canyon won for the fifth straight time, the last four in five sets, with a back-and-forth 3-2 victory (25-17, 25-20, 17-25, 17-25, 15-13) over Bakersfield at Antelope Gymnasium Saturday.
The Antelopes improved to 17-9 overall and 6-6 in the WAC. Bakersfield dropped to 11-14 and 7-5.
Shannon Dugan had a team-high 15 kills to go with 16 digs, upping her WAC-best double-double total to 13. She also had a career-high six block assists. Natalie Tardy had 13 kills and nine digs. Mackenzie Phelps added a GCU-best 18 digs, while Michelle Steagall had 38 assists.
Molly O’Hagan tied her career high with 21 kills, while Danika Youngblood also posted 21 kills to go along with nine digs. Luiza Martins registered her 10th double-double of the year with 48 assists and 15 digs. Mariah Alvidrez had 19 digs.
Seattle U 3, Chicago State 0 (25-14, 25-17, 25-21)

SEATTLE – (SU Media Relations) In a team effort, Seattle University earned a 3-0 victory (25-14, 25-17, 25-21) over Chicago State Saturday afternoon in a Western Athletic Conference volleyball match at the Connolly Center.
Stephanie Stoll led the Redhawks with eight kills and five total blocks, plus hit .615 in the match, while Alec Goodrie collected seven kills, a .545 hitting percentage and eight digs. Iris Ivanis had a team-high 12 digs, while Kerry Lane accumulated 33 assists, two kills, five digs, and three block assists as the Redhawks (11-14, 7-5 WAC) hit .337, the team’s highest single-match hitting percentage of the season.
Chicago State (6-22, 0-12 WAC) was led by Elly Woinowsky with eight kills, with Milic Zmiric earning seven kills, four digs and three total blocks. Sarah Metcalfe collected 19 assists and two service aces, while libero Julia Menhart led all players with 13 digs.
