PHOENIX – (GCU Media Relations) The Grand Canyon University men's basketball team (4-5) dropped a 67-51 decision to visiting Idaho State (2-5) tonight at GCU Arena after shooting just 33.3 percent from the floor. The Bengals boasted an impressive 53.1 field goal percentage as they limited the Antelopes to just 23 second half points.
Jerome Garrison led GCU with 20 points on 6-for-10 shooting, including a 4-for-6 mark from beyond the three-point line. It was his fifth double-digit scoring effort in a row. Miroslav Jaksic tallied a season-best nine points.
