KANSAS CITY, Mo. - (UMKC Media Relations)Calli White and Taylor Leathers both reached double figures in the scoring column, but the Missouri-Kansas City women’s basketball team was unable to take down instate rival Southeast Missouri State on Wednesday night at the Swinney Recreation Center.
White led the ‘Roos offensively, scoring 18 points for the second straight contest, to go along with four rebounds in 40 minutes of action, while Leathers finished with a season-high 12 points and six rebounds.

GREELEY, Colo. - (GCU Media Relations) Grand Canyon opened its two-game road trip with a 66-47 loss to Northern Colorado at Bank of Colorado Arena in Greeley, Colo., Wednesday.Against the Bears, the Antelopes were out-rebounded 40-23. The hosts shot 47.1 percent from the field to GCU's 32.6.
Off the bench, sophomore guard August Touchard led the way for the Antelopes. She had 12 points, including nine in the second half. Freshman Jessica Gajewski had nine points.
