SEATTLE - (SU Media Relations) Seattle University women’s basketball had opportunities to seal the win late in regulation, but Montana would tie the game and hit their stride in overtime to come away with the 70-64 win.
“Once I made a change, we started picking up the tempo; we had a lot of freshman out here and I’m proud of their effort,” said head coach Joan Bonvicini. “We had our chance at the end of regulation, but we have a lot to build on from this game - I like the effort, I like our intensity. I thought Crystal [Allen] played her best game, Jazmine [Johnson] played a lot of minutes, and Taelor [Ross] came in in the second half and played great. It was just a game we needed to finish.”
