LOGAN, Utah – (CSUB Media Relations) Another tight game, another close loss for the CSUB Roadrunners who fell 53-49 Friday night to South Dakota State in the second game of the World Vision Classic hosted by Utah State.

The Roadrunners overcame a four-point halftime deficit to lead by as many as five points late in the second half, but after failing to score during a five-minute stretch with just over six minutes to play, the Jackrabbits converted on a pair of shots inside the final two minutes, taking advantage of a late CSUB turnover in the process to send the ‘Runners to their sixth-straight loss.

It was the seventh time this season CSUB has lost a game by less than five points and the ninth time losing by less than seven.

Aly Ahmed finished with a team-high 15 points on 7-of-9 shooting.

Minnesota 92, Seattle U 57

MINNEAPOLIS – (SU Media Relations) Seattle University faced one of its toughest non-conference games of the season, as the University of Minnesota jumped out on top and maintained its momentum throughout the night for a 92-57 victory over the Redhawks Friday night in a men’s collegiate basketball game at Williams Arena.

Jadon Cohee led the Redhawks with a season-high 14 points, plus he dished out three assists, while Isiah Umipig finished with 13 points, four rebounds and two assists. In the paint, William Powell worked hard for seven points and a team-high six rebounds, and Theo Turner also scored seven points as he played a season-high 25 minutes.

Creighton 75, Texas-Pan American 60

OMAHA, Neb. – (UTPA Media Relations) The University of Texas-Pan American Broncs men's basketball team fell to the Creighton University Bluejays 75-60 on Friday at CenturyLink Arena.

Shaquille Hines led the Broncs (5-6) with 16 points and seven rebounds. Everett Osborne scored a career-high 15 points, while Janari Joesaar scored 12 points.
