KANSAS CITY, Mo. - (UMKC Media Relations) Kiana Law scored 17 points, grabbed eight rebounds and added two steals in just 17 minutes of action but the effort was not enough as the Missouri-Kansas City women’s basketball team fell 59-51 to William Jewell on Saturday afternoon at Municipal Auditorium.
“I’m proud of the fact that we continued to compete for the entire game,” Head Coach Marsha Frese said. “We have to keep working towards a solution for our turnovers. It’s not from a lack of willingness to take care of the basketball, but we need a little bit more experience handling the pressure that we saw today.”
