SEATTLE – (SU Media Relations) Seattle University was able to bounce back Sunday night, controlling the game from the start as it defeated Sacramento State, 66-47, in a men’s collegiate basketball non-conference contest at KeyArena to move to the top of the WAC standings at 6-6.
Jarell Flora notched his first career double-double thanks to career highs in both scoring and rebounding, as he finished with 26 points on 10-of-18 shooting from the field, including 5-of-10 from behind the three-point line, and 10 rebounds. Isiah Umipig also went 5-for-10 from long distance as he collected 19 points, and Jack Crook contributed nine points along with team-high totals of 12 rebounds and six assists.
Omaha 77, Texas-Pan American 72Recap | StatsRALSTON, Neb. – Shaquille Hines tied his career high in points, field goals and assists, but the University of Texas-Pan American Broncs men's basketball team fell to the University of Nebraska at Omaha Mavericks 77-72 on Sunday at Ralston Arena. Hines led the Broncs (5-7) with 27 points on 12-of-20 shooting to go with nine rebounds and five assists. Shaquille Boga scored 18 points on 7-of-12 shooting, including 4-of-8 from behind the arc, with three rebounds and four assists. Janari Joesaar scored 11 points with eight rebounds.
