OREM, Utah - (UVU Media Relations) Utah Valley women's basketball knocked off current Mountain West leader Boise State, 68-60, on Saturday afternoon in the PE Building.
Rhiah Spooner-Knight led the Wolverines with 19 points, including her first career three-pointer. Rebecca MaWhinney finished with 14 points and Mariah Seals chipped in 10 points in the win.

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - (CSUB Media Relations) After trailing by 18 points in the second half, Tyonna Outland’s three-point play with 5.2 seconds remaining capped off CSU Bakersfield’s comeback and gave the Roadrunners a 66-65 victory over UC Riverside in women’s basketball action Saturday afternoon.
Batabe Zempare led the Roadrunners with 16 points and 16 rebounds in only 24 minutes of action. Outland’s game winning field goal was the only attempt she made in 19 tries on the day. She grabbed eight rebounds, had five assists, four steals, and one block.

DENVER - (UMKC Media Relations) The Missouri-Kansas City women’s basketball team trimmed a 26-point second half deficit down to five, but was unable to complete the comeback, falling 74-66 to Denver on Saturday at Magness Arena.
The loss drops the Kangaroos to 2-6 on the season, while the Pioneers pick up their first win of the season, improving to 1-6. Calli White led the ‘Roos with a team-high 18 points to go along with three rebounds and two assists, while Samantha Waldron finished with a career-high 14 points and five rebounds.

EDINBURG, Texas - (UTPA Media Relations) The University of Texas-Pan American Broncs women's basketball team rallied back from a 17-point deficit to go up by as many as eight before ultimately falling to the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Islanders 60-57 on Saturday at the UTPA Fieldhouse.
The Broncs are the first team in the NCAA to complete 11 games this season. Only two other teams have completed 10, Alabama and Western Kentucky.
