Portland 6, Seattle U 0

After four scoreless innings, Ryan Littlefield led off the top of the fifth inning with a single, and pinch hitter Grant Taylor drew a walk. Chet Thompson laid down a bunt in front of the plate, but the throw from Redhawk catcher Sam Finfer (Bellevue, Wash.) to third base was not in time, loading the bases with nobody out. Devin Kopas’s grounder found a hole on the left side of the infield, driving in Littlefield with the first run of the game.
