Kansas City 8, Western Illinois 0 (6)
The Kangaroos posted a six-inning 8-0 shutout against Western Illinois at the UMKC Invitational Saturday. Bri Wyatt, Katie Kelley and Alexandra Friloux drove in two runs apiece, while Cinda Ramos and Aly Zembruski had one RBI each. Kelley threw a two-hitter, striking out five and walking two over six inings to improve to 4-4 on the season.

Northern Colorado 6, Kansas City 5 (9)
Later in the day, the 'Roos gave up an RBI single in the top of the ninth inning to fall 6-5 to Northern Colorado and fall to 9-12 on the year. Marlee Maples was 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI, while Ramos, Friloux and Maddie Garton drove in one run each.

Bakersfield 6, Sacramento State 1
The Roadrunners belted off 11 hits in a 6-1 win over Sacramento State in the first game of a doubleheader Saturday. Kelsie Monroe threw a one-hitter, striking out four and walking three over seven innings. Jessica Castaneda was 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI. Karissa Veiga, Sydney Raeber and Amy Ricciardi drove in one run each.

Sacramento State 2, Bakersfield 1
In the nightcap, three errors cost the Roadrunners, as they fell 2-1 to the Hornets. Amber Mills scored Bakersfield's lone run and also suffered the loss in the circle, allowing two runs on five hits over six innings.

Fairleigh Dickinson 3, Seattle U 1
The Redhawks gave up three runs in the top of the sixth inning and stranded 10 runners to fall 3-1 to Farleigh Dickinson at the USD Tournament Saturday. Mandie Sugita drove in Seattle U's lone run in the bottom of the fourth inning.

San Diego 6, Seattle U 2
Later in the day, the Redhawks committed three errors which led to five unearned runs in a 6-2 loss to the host Toreros to drop to 10-18 on the season. Bubba Morrow hit a solo homer to pace Seattle U at the plate.

Colorado State 6, New Mexico State 2
The Aggies fell 6-2 to Colorado State in their first game of the Fresno State Classic Saturday. Lacey Rother and Kelsey Dodd drove in the New Mexico State runs, as Rother was 2-for-3 on the game.

Fresno State 6, New Mexico State 4
Later in the day, the Aggies fell 6-4 to the host Bulldogs to drop to 17-13 on the season. Staci Rodriguez had an RBI double, while Rother had a double and a sacrifice fly. Brennalyn Nakamura also drove in a run in the loss.
