The Wolverines committed three errors in a 4-1 loss to Utah State in the first half of a doubleheader Tuesday. Hailey Kofler hit an RBI-double in the bottom of the sixth inning to account for the lone Utah Valley run. Josi Summers suffered the loss in the circle, allowing two runs on three hits while striking out four over 4.1 innings.
Utah State 8, Utah Valley 7
In the nightcap, the Wolverines fell 8-8 to drop to 7-16 on the season. Amanda Robinson hit a two-run blast, while Kofler hit a solo homer, one of her three hits on the game. Briana Gatlin and Morgan Summers also drove in runs for the Wolverines. Kailey Christensen suffered the loss in the circle, falling to 1-3 on the season.
