Utah Valley 45, Texas-Pan American 42
OREM, Utah --(UVU Media Relations) Utah Valley University clinched at least a share of the Western Athletic Conference regular season championship after grinding out a 45-42 win over Texas-Pan American on Saturday night in the UCCU Center.
Ben Aird finished with nine points, 13 rebounds and five blocks for UVU, grabbing nine of his boards in the second half. The Wolverines (18-10, 12-3) had a 42-32 edge on the glass. Utah Valley won despite shooting just 26.4 percent (14-for-53) from the field.

New Mexico State 72, Bakersfield 57
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. --(AP) Tshilidzi Nephawe scored 15 points and hauled in 16 rebounds, while Sim Bhullar added 13 and 12, helping New Mexico State put away Bakersfield 72-57 Saturday night.
The Aggies (22-9, 11-4 Western Athletic Conference) shot 51 percent from the field. Daniel Mullings chipped in 14 points, and Travon Landry and DK Eldridge each had 12.
Bakersfield (12-17, 5-10) went 21 of 66 on field goal attempts (31.8 percent). Corey Hall, Issiah Grayson and Brandon Barnes each contributed 10 points.

Grand Canyon 84, Chicago State 74
Phoenix, Ariz.-(GCU Media Relations) In their regular season home finale at GCU Arena, the Grand Canyon University men's basketball team (14-13, 9-5 WAC) won, 84-74, over visiting Chicago State (12-17, 7-7 WAC) to finish 8-3 on their home court during their inaugural run through the Western Athletic Conference.
Prior to tipoff, the Antelopes honored their three seniors: Jeremy Adams, Blake Davis, and Killian Larson.
Larson matched his season-high with 31 points, one shy of his career-high. He also pulled down 12 rebounds for his 18th double-double of his senior campaign. Daniel Alexander had 19 points, while Jerome Garrison had 14. Adams added 12 points and a career-high eight rebounds.

Seattle U 76, Idaho 68
Seattle, Wash.-(SU Media Relations)The backcourt play of Isiah Umipig (Federal Way, Wash.) and D’Vonne Pickett Jr. (Seattle, Wash.) led the Seattle University men’s basketball team to a 76-68 victory over Idaho Saturday night in a Western Athletic Conference contest at KeyArena.
Umipig scored a career-high 36 points on 12-of-22 shooting from the field, including 8-of-18 from behind the three-point line, and 4-of-4 shooting from the free throw line. Meanwhile, Pickett collected 15 points, eight rebounds, six assists, and two steals as he played on Elgin Baylor Court for the final time as a collegian.
