Bakersfield 2, Harvard 1 (8)
The Roadrunners defeated Harvard 2-1 in eight innings in their first game of the Cal State Northridge Tournament Friday, despite being out-hit 7-4. Briana Pontecorvo was 2-for-3 and drove in a run. Kelsie Monroe earned the complte-game win in the circle, allowing one run on seven hits while striking out four to improve to 7-10 on the season.

Cal State Northridge 5, Bakersfield 2
Later in the day, the 'Runners fell 5-2 to the host Matadors to drop to 8-22 on the season. Ashley Carter drove in a run, while Sydney Raeber had a double in the loss. Amber Mills suffered the loss, allowing two earned runs on four hits over 3.1 innings.

Kansas City 4, North Dakota State 3
The Kangaroos plated four runs in the top of the seventh inning to defeat North Dakota State in their first game of the Missouri Tournament Friday. Kristi Lee drove in two runs, while Bri Wyatt and Cinda Ramos had one RBI each. Katie Kelley earned the complete-game win, allowing three runs on six hits while striking out five to even her record at 5-5 on the season.

Oklahoma State 8, Kansas City 2
The 'Roos fell 8-2 to Oklahoma State in their second game of the day to drop to 10-17 on the season. Marlee Maples and Alexandra Friloux drove in the two Kansas City runs. Kenzie Flaws suffered the loss, allowing six runs on five hits over 1.2 innings to fall to 1-6 on the year.

Grand Canyon 9, Princeton 2
The Antelopes had 12 hits in a 9-2 win over Princeton in their first game of the day at the Santa Clara Round Robin Friday. Haley Walker was 2-for-5 with three RBI, while Kelsey Barak was 3-for-4 and drove in three runs. Lauren Regester had a pair of doubles and drove in two runs. Stephanie Pesqueira earned the complete-game win, alling two runs on seven hits to improve to 5-7 on the season.

California 11, Grand Canyon 1 (5)
The 'Lopes fell 11-1 in five innings to California later in the day to fall to 12-15 on the year. Barak drove in the lone Grand Canyon run. Starting pitcher Kailey Regester took the loss in the circle, allowing seven runs on eight hits over 2.2 innings to fall to 5-3 on the season.
