San Diego State 73, New Mexico State 69 (OT)
SPOKANE, Wash. – For the first time in NCAA Tournament history, there were four overtime games in one day as March Madness officially swung into action. Thursday’s final overtime game was held inside the Spokane Arena where the 13th-seeded New Mexico State men’s basketball team fell in the second round of the tournament, 73-69, to No. 4-seed San Diego State.
NM State stormed back from a 12-point halftime deficit to force the game into overtime. The Aggies trailed by as many as 14 early in the second half and by 10 with under three minutes remaining. But the never-say-die underdogs closed out the second half on a 14-4 run and tied the game at 60 after a 3-point shot by senior guard Kevin Aronis with 5.4 seconds left in regulation.

Pacific 69, Grand Canyon 67
Phoenix, Ariz.-(GCU Media Relations) In a tightly contested game that went down to the last second, the Grand Canyon University men's basketball team (15-15, 10-6 WAC) fell 69-67 to visiting University of the Pacific (16-15, 6-12 WCC) tonight in the opening round of the CollegeInsider.com Tournament at Antelope Gymnasium in Phoenix, Ariz.
GCU reached the postseason during their inaugural run through Division I after finishing third in the Western Athletic Conference. Killian Larson recorded his 21st double-double of the season with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Daniel Alexander also finished with 20 points, while Jerome Garrison had 13.

California 77, Utah Valley 64
BERKELEY, Calif. - Utah Valley University's historic season came to an end on Wednesday in the opening round of the NIT, 77-64, at Haas Pavilion against California. It was the program's first-ever trip to the NIT in a season the Wolverines also won the WAC regular season in the school's first year in the league.
UVU (20-12) was led by two of its seniors: Holton Hunsaker scored 22 points, hitting 5-of-8 from three, and Ben Aird added 19. The duo finish their careers second and third on the all-time scoring list -- Hunsaker scored 1,555 to Aird's 1,535 career points -- trailing only Ryan Toolson.

Louisville 88, Idaho 42
Iowa City, Iowa – The Vandals committed 18 turnovers and made just four three-pointers in an 88-42 loss to Louisville in the first round of the NCAA Tournament Sunday. With the loss, Idaho ends the season with a 25-9 record.
Ali Forde led the Vandals with 16 points and eight rebounds. Alyssa Charlston added 11 points, while Connie Ballestero had five assists.

Saint Mary's 75, Bakersfield 68
MORAGA, Calif. – The Roadrunners' season came to an end Friday, falling 75-68 at Saint Mary's in the first round of the WNIT. With the loss, Bakersfield finishes the season 19-12.
Tyonna Outland led the 'Runners with 20 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists for her fifth double-double of the season. Melissa Sweat added 20 points, while Batabe Zempare grabbed nine boards.

Boise State 52, Grand Canyon 51
PHOENIX, Ariz. – The Antelopes committed a season-high 23 turnovers in a heartbreaking 52-51 loss to Boise State in the first round of the Women's Basketball Invitational Thursday at Antelope Gymnasium. With the loss, Grand Canyon ends the season 21-9 on the year in its first season of Division I play.
Deanna Daniels led all players with 24 points to go along with 10 rebounds for her fifth double-double of the season. Johnna Brown also doubled up with 12 points and 12 boards.
