The 2014 WAC Outdoor Track and Field Championship travels to Orem, Utah for the first time in meet history. The meet will be held May 14-17 at the Hal Wing Track and Field. Idaho (men) and Grand Canyon (women) hope to sweep the 2013-14 Track and Field titles as they both won their respective Indoor Championship back in February.
The competition begins Wednesday with the women’s heptathlon and the men’s decathlon. Thursday will see the completion of the two multi-events and the first final of the championship, the 10,000 meters. The first eight field finals will take place on Friday. There will only be one track final on Friday, the steeplechase, as the remaining track events will be prelims. The meet will conclude on Saturday with eight more field finals and 10 men's and women's track finals.
