WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. –(SAC Media Relations) A leadoff single by Scotty Burcham and a Bulldog error gave Sacramento State runners on the corners with none out in a 1-1 game in the 10th and senior David Del Grande came through with a bloop single to center to give Sacramento State a 2-1 win over No. 24 Fresno State on Wednesday at Raley Field.
The victory was the second of the season for Sacramento State (7-6) over Fresno State (9-3) and ended the Bulldog’s six-game winning streak. It was also the second Hornet win this season against a ranked opponent.

UTSA 6, Texas-Pan American 5
SAN ANTONIO –(UTPA Media Relations) The University of Texas-Pan American Broncs baseball team fell to the University of Texas at San Antonio Roadrunners 6-5 on Wednesday at Roadrunner Field.
With the game tied 5-5 and two outs the bottom of the ninth, Broncs (6-7) junior reliever Blake English (1-1) walked RJ Perucki. Horacio Correa III followed with a single to move Correa to third, and then Mike Warren singled up the middle to end the game.
