San Diego State 4, Kansas City 2
The Kangaroos fell 4-2 to San Diego State in their first game of the day at the Wichita State Tournament Friday. Cinda Ramos accounted for two of Kansas City's five hits in the game, while Alex Gale had the 'Roos lone RBI.

Kansas City 8, North Dakota 0 (6)
Later in the day, the 'Roos defeated North Dakota 8-0 in six innings, belting 13 hits. Aly Zembruski was 3-for-4 with three RBI, while Ramos was 2-for-3 with two RBI. Caitlin Christopher and Marlee Maples drove in one run each. Ramos also earned the win in the circle, scattering three hits and striking out seven over six innings.

Grand Canyon 9, Georgetown 3
The Antelopes defeated Georgetown 9-3 Friday in their first game of the day at the UCLA/CSUN Invitational. Kelsey Barak was 3-for-3 with a pair of home runs and three RBI. McKensey Madsen, Nicole Newbury, Kiki Sepulveda, Stephanie Smith and Kylie Shull drove in one run apiece. Kailey Regester earned the win, allowing two unearned runs on four hits over four innings. Sepulveda earned the save, her first of the season.

Cal State Northridge 2, Grand Canyon 0
Later in the day, the 'Lopes fell 2-0 at Cal State Northridge. Madsen had two of Grand Canyon's four hits in the loss.

Loyola-Chicago 5, Bakersfield 4
The Roadrunners fell 5-4 to Loyola-Chicago at the UCLA/CSUN Invitational Friday. Madison Bundy was 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBI. Sydney Raeber was 2-for-4 and drove in one run.

UT Arlington 5, New Mexico State 3
The Aggies failed to capitalize on five Maverick errors and fell 5-3 to UT Arlington in their first game of the Jeannine McHaney Classic Friday. Staci Rodriguez led New Mexico State at the plate, driving in two runs.

Texas Tech 8, New Mexico State 4
Later in the day, the Aggies fell 8-4 to the host Red Raiders to drop to 13-9 on the season. Fiana Finau, Kelsey Dodd and Haley Nakamura drove in one run each in the loss.
