Edinburg, Texas-(GCU Media Relations) It took overtime to do it, but the Grand Canyon University men's basketball team completed their inaugural season in Division I with a thrilling 79-78 win over Texas-Pan American in Edinburg, TX.
The win improves GCU's overall record to 15-14 and 10-6 in the Western Athletic Conference. The Antelopes finish in sole possession of third in the WAC, after being picked eighth by the coaches and ninth by the media in the preseason poll. UTPA fell to 9-22, 5-11 in the WAC.

CHICAGO – (CSU Media Relations) The Chicago State men's basketball team clinched the No. 3 seed in the Western Athletic Conference Tournament with a 67-53 victory over Seattle U on Saturday (March 8) afternoon at the Jones Convocation Center.
The No. 3 seed is the highest for a NCAA Division I school in the state of Illinois this year. It is also the highest tournament seed the Cougars have ever earned in program history for a conference tournament that has awards an NCAA automatic bid to the winner.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – (UI Media Relations) The Idaho men’s basketball team overcame a 10-point second-half deficit to pull out a 87-80 win at Kansas City in the regular season finale on Saturday night, and will face the same Kangaroo squad in the Western Athletic quarterfinals on Mar. 13.
The Vandals fell behind by 10, 65-55, then went on a 25-2 second-half run to take the lead for good en route to their fourth win in their final five regular season games.
