PROVO, Utah –(UVU Media Relations) Craig Brinkerhoff homered and drove in three runs and Mark Krueger also had three RBIs as Utah Valley University topped BYU, 8-3, on Tuesday night at Larry H. Miller Field. It’s the third straight win for the Wolverines (10-18).
Devin Nelson went 8.1 innings on the mound for UVU to pick up the win and move to 2-4 on the year. He surrendered three runs on 10 hits and struck out four. Michael Springer took the loss for the Cougars (10-20), dropping to 0-3.

Reno, Nev.-(GCU Media Relations) The Nevada baseball team (13-13, 6-6 MWC) used a two-out rally in the bottom of the ninth inning to come away with a 3-2 walkoff victory over Grand Canyon University (15-12, 5-1 WAC) today in the series finale at Peccole Park in Reno, Nev. The loss snapped a season-best five-game win streak for the Antelopes.
GCU outhit the Wolf Pack 9-6 but stranded seven runners, including one apiece in the seventh and ninth innings and three in the opening frame.

Milwaukee 12, Chicago State 8
CHICAGO –(CSU Media Relations) Chicago State baseball surrendered eight runs over the final three innings as UW-Milwaukee rallied to defeat the Cougars 12-8 in a non-conference contest at Cougar Stadium on Tuesday (April 1).
The Cougars opened the scoring in the bottom of the fourth inning with a four spot. The big hit was a 2-RBI triple by junior Robert Swenson (Mason City, Iowa/Mason City). He then came around to score on an infield hit by junior Nathan Poff (Sellersburg, Ind./New Albany), giving the Cougars their fourth run of the inning.

USAFA, Colo. – Fans of either Northern Colorado or Air Force baseball know when the two teams meet on the diamond, you should never leave your seat before the final out and Tuesday's game was no exception.
Trailing 6-1 going into the eighth inning, the Bears (5-23) scored five runs over the next two innings to cut the deficit to two, 8-6 before the Falcons (6-21) were able to stop the threat.
