Valparaiso 8, Chicago State 3
VALPARAISO, Ind. -(CSU Media Relations) Chicago State baseball dropped a non-conference contest at Valparaiso on Wednesday (April 30) afternoon 8-3 at Emory G. Bauer Field.
Through the first four innings the Cougars out-hit the Crusaders 8-5. However the Crusaders added five walks and three hit by pitches to take a 7-1 lead after four innings. Three runs in both the third and fourth innings by Valparaiso put the game out of reach for the Cougars.

Nevada 10, Sacramento State 3
RENO, Nev. –(SAC Media Relations) Sacramento State trailed just 4-3 through six and a half innings but Nevada scored three runs in the seventh and three more in the eighth to pull away for a 10-3 win on Wednesday night in Reno.
The game was played at Aces Ballpark in downtown Reno, the home of the Triple-A Reno Aces. Nevada (23-18) evened its season series against Sacramento State (28-18) after the Hornets beat the Wolf Pack 7-4 at Raley Field on Feb. 25. The contest was the final non-conference road game of the year for Sacramento State.
