Sacramento State 11, Chicago State 6
SACRAMENTO, Calif. -(SAC Media Relations) Senior designated hitter Clay Cederquist and freshman second baseman Brandon Hunley each hit a three-run home run and each had four hits in the contest to lead the Hornets to an 11-6 win over Chicago State.
Hitting in the No. 7 and 8 spots, respectively, Cederquist and Hunley each had the first four-hit game of their careers. Cederquist had four RBIs and three runs scored while Hunley had three RBIs and scored twice. Juniors Kyle Moses, Rhys Hoskins, and Scotty Burcham each had two hits for the Hornets as all nine starters recorded hits and the team totaled 18 hits for the contest.

New Mexico State 11, Utah Valley 3
LAS CRUCES –(NMSU Media Relations) The New Mexico State baseball team used a big second inning and held the momentum from that point on to defeat Utah Valley 11-3 at Presley Askew Field, Saturday, May 3. The Aggies move to 18-24 on the year and 9-8 in Western Athletic Conference play while UVU falls to 20-24 overall and 12-8 in WAC play.
The Aggies fell behind 1-0 after one inning of play but scored six runs in the bottom of the second to jump out on top while never losing the lead. Starting pitcher Billy Conard earned the win and is now 3-3 on the year after working 7.1innings and picking up seven strikeouts while giving up only two walks and three runs. The NM State offense gave the run support needed to get the win scoring 11 runs on 12 hits and three Utah Valley errors.

Texas-Pan American 8, North Dakota 5
EDINBURG –(UTPA Media Relations) After getting held without a base runner through the first five and two-thirds innings, the Broncs offense erupted to send the University of Texas-Pan American baseball team past the University of North Dakota 8-5 on Saturday at Edinburg Baseball Stadium.
It is the Broncs' (21-27, 11-9 WAC) fifth-straight WAC series win.

Bakersfield 19, Northern Colorado 7
GREELEY, Colo.-(CSUB Media Relations) Chance Gusbeth (So., Lancaster, Calif., Desert Christian HS) and Soloman Williams (Jr., Long Beach, Calif., Golden West College) and became the sixth and seventh Bakersfield baseball players to hit two home runs in a game as the Roadrunners defeated Northern Colorado 19-7 Saturday afternoon.
Williams led off the second with a blast to center before following it up with shot to left center in the fifth. Williams added an RBI single in the top of the sixth. The 6-7 first baseman ended the day a triple away from hitting for the cycle. He was 4-for-5 and had two runs scored. Williams reset the 'Runner record for most total bases in a game with 11 (old record was 10 set by Cael Brockmeyer Mar. 9, 2013).
