Air Force men's soccer ran its unbeaten streak to five games with a 1-0 victory over Oakland on Sunday morning at the Cadet Soccer Stadium. Cameron Duley's goal in the 77th minute improved the Falcons to 3-0-2 on the season. In an a evenly played match, Air Force finally broke through with 13 minutes left in regulation. Kevin Meyer sent a perfect pass into the middle of the box for Duley, who scooted the ball under Oakland goalkeeper West Mink's reach from 10 yards out for the score.


UNLV 0, Detroit 0 (2OT)

The win streak is over for the UNLV men's soccer team, but it remains undefeated after finishing in a 0-0 double-overtime tie with the defensive-minded Detroit Titans on Sunday afternoon in the UNLV Nike Invitational. The Rebels dropped to 5-0-1 for the season, while Detroit moved to 2-2-1 and claimed the tournament title after winning the total goals scored tiebreaker.

The University of Connecticut men’s soccer team (2-3-0) scored three first half goals and, despite a mid-second half scoring contribution from Seattle University’s (3-2-0) Hamza Haddadi (Shoreline, Wash.), the Redhawks fell, 3-1, to the Huskies.


Radford 1, Incarnate Word 0

In their second and final game of the High Point Classic, the University of the Incarnate Word men's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision against Radford University.  An early goal sent the Cardinals home with their fifth straight loss. The Cardinals (0-5) fell behind to the Highlanders (2-2-1) after just thirteen minutes of play.  The goal came from a rebounded ball struck by senior midfielder Stephen Hudgens.  Chel Ho Park Kim assisted on the game winning goal after his initial shot was denied.


Wright State 3, Grand Canyon 2 (2OT)

The Grand Canyon University men's soccer team (1-3-0) came out on the wrong end of a hard fought battle with visiting Wright State (4-1-1) as they fell, 3-2, to the Raiders in double overtime. The Antelopes led for much of the game, but WSU scored two unanswered goals to stake the victory in the 106th minute.
