DENVER - NM State sophomore forward Pascal Siakam has been named Western Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the week of Nov. 16-22. This is his second WAC Player of the Week honor of the season and the fourth of his career.

The Doula, Cameroon, native averaged 24.5 points on 61.8 percent shooting, 13.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists as the Aggies went 2-0 on the week. Siakam collected his ninth career double-double with a career-high 30 points to go with 11 rebounds and a career-high four assists in the Aggies' 76-63 win over Tennessee Tech last Wednesday. He followed it up with his third double-double of the year and the 10th of his career with 19 points and a season-best 16 rebounds in NM State's 85-46 win over Mississippi Valley State last Saturday. In NCAA stats through Nov. 21 games, Siakam leads the nation in field goals made (39) and total points (100), ranks seventh in total rebounds (46), ninth in scoring average (25.0) and 23rd in rebounding average (11.5).

Other nominees included: Kevin Mays of CSU Bakersfield averaged 18.0 points and 10.0 rebounds as the Roadrunners went 2-0 last week ... Chicago State's Trayvon Palmer averaged 13.7 points, 11.7 rebounds, 2.0 steals, 1.67 blocks and 1.33 assists as the Cougars went 2-1 on the week ... Joshua Braun of Grand Canyon averaged 20.0 points on 76.9 percent shooting, 4.0 rebounds, 1.5 blocks and 1.0 steals as the Lopes went 2-0 on the week ... Missouri-Kansas City's Martez Harrison averaged 15.5 points, 7.5 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 2.0 steals as the ‘Roos went 1-1 on the week ... Brendan Westendorf of Seattle U finished with 20 points, six rebounds and three assists in a loss to Eastern Washington ... UT Rio Grande Valley's Antonio Green averaged 13.7 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.7 assists as the Vaqueros went 1-2 last week ... Konner Frey of Utah Valley averaged 15.0 points, 9.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists as the Wolverines went 1-1 on the week.
