DENVER - NM State's Sasha Weber has been named Western Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for Dec. 14 through Dec. 20.
Weber, a senior guard from Lacey, Wash. (Timberline HS), stepped up for NM State this week. She averaged 14.3 points per game and 4.0 rebounds per game, including 20 points at San José State and 16 points at New Mexico. The conference leader in three pointers per game, she made nine three-pointers on the week as the Aggies earned three wins. She currently sits at 13th on the NM State all-time scoring list with 1,285 career points.
