Two WAC Women's Soccer Players Earn NSCAA All-Region Honors
KANSAS CITY - Two WAC women's soccer players have been named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-West Region team. Utah Valley senior Kasandra Anderson was named to the West Region's second team, while Missouri-Kansas City freshman Reighan Childers earned third team honors.

Anderson, a midfielder from Nibley, Utah (Mountain Crest HS), was the leading scorer for the Wolverines squad that claimed its first ever WAC Tournament Championship and NCAA Tournament berth. She totaled 20 points on the year, with six goals and eight assists, earning All-WAC first team honors. Despite only playing two years at UVU after a prolific junior college career, Anderson tied the Wolverines' career record for assists with 12 and finished in the top 10 of the program's record books with nine goals and 30 points.

Childers, a midfielder from Grain Valley, Mo. (Grain Valley HS), totaled 23 points on eight goals and seven assists in her first collegiate season. She was the creative attacking force for the UMKC offense that finished the year second in the nation in shots on goal per game (9.95) and led the WAC in goals (29), points (85) and shots (243) during conference play.
