DENVER – Missouri-Kansas City’s Bryce Miller and Utah Valley’s Levi Ball have been named the Western Athletic Conference men’s track and field Athletes of the Week, respectively, for February 16-22.
Miller, a senior from Ashland, Wis. (Ashland HS), broke his previous record time from the Tiger Invitational in the men’s one mile run. At the Nebraska Tune-Up this weekend, Miller completed the run in 4:10.03, granting him a fourth place finish. This time now ranks second best in school history and is also the fastest in the WAC this season.
Ball, a senior from Bountiful, Utah (Viewmont HS), tied for a first place finish in the men’s pole vault this weekend at the Wildcat Indoor Open in Ogden, Utah. He recorded a mark of 4.50 meters to lead the Wolverines.
