LAS VEGAS - No. 4 Seattle U came from behind to defeat the No. 5 Utah Valley Wolverines 64-62 in the second half of the first women's quarterfinal game. Seattle U will advance to the women's semifinals game against New Mexico State on Friday at 12:00 p.m. PT.
Taelor Ross led the Redhawks with 22 points and 14 rebounds for her fourth double-double of the season before fouling out.
The Wolverines were led by Rhaiah Spooner-Knight who scored 14 points, while Sam Loggins added a double-double of 12 points and 11 rebounds.
