LAS VEGAS - No. 2 Bakersfield held a strong lead over No. 7 Chicago State Cougars to win the second women's quarterfinal game 77-53. Bakersfield will advance to the women's semifinals game on Friday at 2:30 p.m. PT.
Tyonna Outland led the Roadrunners with 17 points and seven rebounds while Batabe Zempare had her WAC leading 14th double-double of the season.
The Cougars were led by Paris Williams who was just shy of a double-double with 21 points and nine rebounds.
